“Stronger families and communities mean brighter futures for our children.
The Fathering Project positively impacts fathering behaviour and fathers’ engagement with children through evidence-rich programs and resources that engage, equip and support fathers, families, schools, employers and community organisations.”
At Westfield Park Primary School, we provide termly opportunities for Fathers and Father figures to engage in their child’s schooling and with the school community. Through a variety of fun hands on activities such as STEM/Lego nights, footy kick to kick afternoons plus our now annual Fathering Camp, we have started to form a network of fathers that is present and involved around the school.
New fathers are always welcome so look out for future activities and communications.
